Everything you need to know before booking your NÉA dress.
How does renting from NÉA work?
Choose your dress, select your rental dates and complete the full payment online. Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received.
How long is the rental period?
Our standard rental period is four days. Your confirmed collection or delivery date and return date will appear in your booking confirmation.
Is full payment required?
Yes. Full payment is required to secure your dress and confirm the booking. We do not accept deposits or reserve dresses without payment.
Do you deliver nationwide?
Yes, we deliver throughout South Africa. The delivery fee paid at checkout covers delivery of the dress to you only.
Can I collect my dress?
Yes. Cape Town customers may collect from our collection point in Table View by prior arrangement. The address and collection details will be shared once your booking is confirmed.
How do I return my dress?
Customers outside Cape Town are responsible for arranging and paying for the return courier.
On your confirmed return date, you must:
- Drop the parcel off at your nearest courier service in the morning.
- Send it to the return address provided by NÉA.
- Send the courier name and tracking details to NÉA via WhatsApp before 12:00 PM.
Please keep your courier receipt until NÉA has received the dress.
What happens if I return the dress late?
Late returns are charged at R100 per dress, per day. Additional charges may apply if your late return affects another customer’s booking.
Is cleaning included?
Yes. Professional cleaning is included in the rental fee. Please do not wash, iron, dry-clean or attempt to remove stains yourself.
Can I try on a dress before booking?
We do not currently offer try-on appointments. Please check the size listed on the product page or contact us if you need help choosing a dress.
What if the dress does not fit?
Contact us within four hours of receiving your dress and let us know about the sizing issue. Please keep the dress unworn and return it with all original packaging, tags and hangers.
Personal preferences regarding the dress’s colour, style or appearance are not treated as sizing problems. If the fit issue is reported within the required time, we may arrange another available dress or issue store credit.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Cancellations made more than seven days before the rental date may qualify for store credit. Cancellations made within seven days are non-refundable.
Date changes and exchanges are subject to availability. Courier fees already paid are non-refundable.
Can I extend my rental?
Extensions must be requested and approved before your confirmed return date. Approval depends on availability and may incur an additional fee.
What if the dress arrives damaged or incorrect?
Inspect the dress as soon as it arrives. Report any existing damage, missing pieces or incorrect items within six hours of receiving it and include clear photographs.
Do not wear the dress if it is damaged or incorrect. Once confirmed, NÉA may offer a suitable replacement, store credit or a refund.
What happens if I damage or lose a dress?
You are responsible for the dress from the time you receive it until it is returned to NÉA or handed to the courier.
You may be charged for additional cleaning, repairs or missing pieces. If the dress is lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair, you may be charged its reasonable replacement value.
Can I wash or alter the dress?
No. Please do not wash, iron, dry-clean, cut, pin, hem or alter the dress in any way. Return all belts, straps and other pieces supplied with it.
What does “Coming Soon” mean?
Coming Soon dresses are not available to rent yet. The expected availability date will be shown on the product page. Follow@nea.dressbarfor booking updates
